About

I started this Blog because as I was starting my thesis, I thought it  would  be  helpful to me – as well as  to other people interested in this subject – to share my findings in return for comments and feedback. For this reason, I   posted a discussion in two relevant LinkedIn groups asking for people who would like to read – and comment on – my findings and progression:screenshot LinkedIn

Within two weeks I got so many responses, that I needed a vehicle to streamline the cooperation, as I did not want to spend more time managing comments and feedback then doing my own reading, research, typing, etc. After having considered several options for collaboration (wiki, open collaboration software, etc.). I chose what I think is the best vehicle for this task: an interactive Blog.

I will use this Blog to publish the different stages of my thesis:

  • Introduction (research question(s), scope, outline, etc.);
  • Theoretical framework;
  • Methodology;
  • Actual research (case studies)
  • Results & conclusions
  • …? (WIP)

This way I will keep you posted on my findings and progression. I would be very grateful for you to read and comment on all these different stages. During my research, I will also post relevant news items and articles I find, to make this a commonplace for information on the subject.

I hope that this chosen ‘meta-methodology’ for attaining feedback on my findings and progression will help me with my research – I am very curious to see whether my endeavor can successfully become a shared one. So thank you all very much for contributing!

Regards,

Joost

Ps.: Please comment if you have any thoughts on the process.

  1. Hello Joost,

    If you are going to lift articles from Blogging Innovation, please make sure to include the author attribution part of the article. This is very important.

    Thank you in advance,
